Twilight Milongas delivers weekly Argentine Tango classes, monthly social dancing events, private lessons, traditional Argentine dj hire services.

This venue has free on-site car parking, all good venue amenities, good sound system and smooth wooden dance floor.
We provide complimentary snacks, cakes and hot refreshments. Plus a limited license bar for you to purchase alcoholic drinks.
No need to book in advance, but we appreciate those who book/pay in advance to enable us to plan for a great event!
Option to pay £15 cash on door (no electronic payment system at venue), OR, pay by ebanking in advance by asking for details via gina@twilightmilongas.co.uk
Our aim is to enable dancers to have a relaxed and enjoyable time, dancing and listening to Argentine Tango music. We wish for everyone to enjoy themselves. We know that everyone is different, we only ask you to come with respect for everyone, the music and the dance floor.
You can support this ethos by coming to our Dance with a good attitude and a positive hope for the event. You can also help by letting the outer line of dance flow freely, without dancers overtaking or stepping back into the line of dance. Please try to avoid walking on the actual dance floor if you are not actually dancing, whilst the music is playing!
Music - Traditional Argentine Tango, milonga & vals music, from the "golden era" , played in tandas with cortinas by specialist resident DJ Pat Nolan - and respected licensed Argentine Tango guest DJs.

As Argentine Tango event organisers we have a responsibility to keep our tango community as safe as possible.
As Argentine Tango event organisers we carry out Risk Assessments to identify any hazards that may be evident whilst carrying out our activities, within any of our venues, taking account of our dancer's profile. Once we identify t
As Argentine Tango event organisers we have a responsibility to keep our tango community as safe as possible.
As Argentine Tango event organisers we carry out Risk Assessments to identify any hazards that may be evident whilst carrying out our activities, within any of our venues, taking account of our dancer's profile. Once we identify these hazards we mitigate through actions and communicate these actions to appropriate people. These actions can be anything from removing or limiting possible hazards, or informing and training the relevant people to minimize any identified risks.
We only ask that dancers take personal responsibility for their own health. Please be aware of your own limitations, and only dance within these.
All dancers have the option to book, and pay, in advance. This is to help us to manage crowd density (hall size and capacity), and our aim to balance lead/followers where appropriate, and to minimize any door congestion.
We hold a small amount of personal data on everyone who books and attends our events. Our Tango community needs to have confidence that we have some knowledge of who attends our events. We like to have the confidence to be able to send out a text at short notice if we wish to inform you of an event cancellation for any reason. We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office as part of Data Protection.
Fixed partners/changing partners? We are open to both single dancers and dance couples - to book advance or to Drop-in. Dancers can stick within a bubble or change dance Partners. Please respect choices made.
Floor etiquette: good floor etiquette is a valuable skill in social dancing. However, it is also a safer way for a healthier dance environment. We ask dancers to give space between each couple, not to overtake or undertake. We ask dancers to stay within their own line of dance.
